Avaritia by Jud Turner

Turner on his work:

The name is taken from the Latin term for ‘greed’ and the bait this mechanized angler fish is using is a coin from 1799. Heightening my enjoyment of the subject (greed) it’s a commission for a German financier!

I have been anticipating the day I when I could make this announcement for quite a while now. If you haven’t seen much from us lately, it’s for a good reason.

The Coastal Theory is opening it’s first physical retail store location!

We will be based in the small town of Whitinsville, Massachusetts and we’re projecting our grand opening day to be in late May 2012. So, if you’re local we would love to see your face! Aaron and I are so excited to have the opportunity to meet our shoppers.

We WILL continue to have our web shop which will offer the majority of the inventory that we will have in our physical location. We’ve re-opened the online shop a bit early and we’ve still got some work to do on it, but we don’t want to make you all wait any longer. You will notice lot’s of NEW inventory that you may not expect to see from us. We’re covering a much broader spectrum of new and thrifted clothing and offering more unique, vintage items. We will be adding many more items to the shop through the rest of this week and next week…and so on.

Life is all about taking chances and this is a big one for us! We hope you’ll continue to support our business!
